Step 1: Have patient lift tongue upward. Position the tongue deflector where needed for retraction and move tongue away from working area. Place smooth side of deflector against the tongue.
Step 2: Once the tongue is positioned properly, slide the mouth prop over the teeth on the opposite side of the mouth and have the patient bite on the mouth prop holding it in place.
Example Usage: If you are preparing a crown on #30, retract the tongue away from this area and slide the mouth prop over the tooth #20. Have the patient bite down to hold the aspirator in place.

We’ve found that a majority of practices use Dentapops with slow speed suction. Each Dentapop is pre-packaged with a 3.5″ Low-Vac Extension Tube for slow speed suction, making it entirely disposable for easy one-time use.
We do offer a High-Vacuum option with our The EZ-Flex Extension Tube. This adaptor is a 42″ gray tube that easily attaches to the high speed suction system. The EZ-Flex Extension tube is not disposable and it cannot be placed in the auto-clave. The EZ-Flex Extension Tube can be cleaned with a sterile solution.
The EZ-Flex Extension tube can be purchased separately in packs of 1, 3, and 6 units.

Dentapops are a one-size-fits all solution for adults and children. By easily sliding the aspirator up and down, you can easily adjust Dentapops to fit each patients mouth. If the bite block is too large, it can be made smaller by using a Diamond Bur. Also, a cotton roll can be placed inside the bite block for extra cushioning.
